Sleep Outfitters is a 35-year-old bedding retailer founded by CEO Kim Knopf in 1983 with a single store in South Charleston, W.Va. Today, Sleep Outfitters’ parent company, Innovative Mattress Solutions, operates more than 100 stores in seven states under the Sleep Outfitters, Mattress Warehouse and Mattress King brand names. Stores feature flat and adjustable mattress sets by Tempur-Pedic, Sealy and Stearns & Foster as well as pillows, sheets and mattress protectors.
